In May, 2018, Daniel M. Rosenberg & Associates added to its team of diligent, compassionate and aggressive criminal defense attorneys.
Retiring from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office with over 20 years’ experience prosecuting cases, Stephen Bodnar adds to the Firm’s already experienced team of seasoned and aggressive trial attorneys. As an Assistant County Prosecutor, Steve served in the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office’s Trial Unit, Motions and Appeals Unit and Grand Jury Unit. As the former Head of the Grand Jury Unit, Steve was intricately involved in the County’s implementation of New Jersey’s Criminal Justice Reform and development of Burlington County’s pre-trial detention procedures. Steve also oversaw the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office involvement in the New Jersey Superior Court Drug Court Program, which has the mission of assisting those with alcohol and drug dependencies to resolve related criminal charges.
Outside of the practice of law, Steve is an avid Ultra Runner and endurance athlete. On May 20th shortly after joining the office, Steve completed Virginia’s Massanutten Mountain Trails 100-mile (MMT 100) endurance race in 34 hours and 59 minutes (his 6th finish of the MMT100). Without taking any time off, Steve returned to the office and worked a full week. Steve’s work ethic and dedication makes him a perfect fit for the office.
At Daniel M. Rosenberg & Associates, Steve will be practicing in the areas of Criminal Defense, Appellate Practice, Civil Litigation, Ethics and representing law enforcement officers and other government and non-government employees in labor issues and disciplinary proceedings.
